Orthopedic Massage Therapy

Targeted relief for acute injuries and chronic pain.

What Is Orthopedic Massage?

As compared to a luxury or "spa-style" massage, orthopedic massage is a more medical and therapeutic treatment using a combination of techniques such as myofascial release, sports massage, and neuromuscular therapy.

While not necessarily "deep tissue," orthopedic massage often feels deeper than traditional massage as it works directly with the nervous system to release tight muscles and tissue.

Orthopedic Massage vs. RolfingĀ®

Orthopedic Massage

"Fix me now" treatment — targeted, short-term relief for specific issues. Best for acute injuries or when you want immediate results.

RolfingĀ® Structural Integration

"Help me fix myself" — whole-body, long-term transformation through the Ten-Series. Best for chronic patterns and lasting change.

Both treatments are complementary. Many clients start with orthopedic massage for immediate relief and transition to Rolfing for lasting structural change, or use both as needed.

What to Expect

Session Length

Sessions are 60 minutes, allowing time for assessment, treatment, and aftercare guidance.

How Many Sessions?

Some clients feel relief after 1-2 sessions. Chronic issues may need 4-6 sessions. We'll assess and adjust as we go.

Injuries Welcome

Orthopedic massage is designed for injuries. Just let me know about any recent injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions first.
